Vizcaya: "Date Night For A Cause"

Greetings Friends, Clients & Colleagues,

We hope our #ThankfulThursday finds you and yours well.Last Saturday, Marile and I had another of our "Date Night For A Cause" with 400 of our closest friends.

The Cause: 68th Annual Vizcaya Ball, benefiting Vizcaya Museum and Gardens—a National Historic Landmark preserving Miami's cultural heritage by maintaining the historic estate built by James Deering in the early 20th century and offering educational and community programs.

Their mission is rooted in creativity and innovation:

“Vizcaya preserves a unique cultural treasure through its history of creativity and innovation, offering programs and events for social learning.”

Access to this historic site is more than admiration—it's about providing inspiration, education, cultural enrichment, and a connection to nature for families and communities who can explore its Italian Renaissance-style villa, subtropical gardens, and Biscayne Bay views on a daily basis.

A Night of Elegance and Preservation

We extend our sincerest congratulations to the Gala Co-chairs, Christina and David Martin and Nancy McCormick and Ray Rasco, whose passion and generosity fostered an atmosphere of maritime magic and shared commitment to heritage under the theme “Voyage to Vizcaya: A Caravel Dream.”

As a Ball Committee Member, Marile was truly honored to once again assist and contribute to such a meaningful celebration.

We also want to congratulate Dr. Joel M. Hoffman, the dedicated Executive Director/CEO of Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. Joel’s passion and tireless leadership in safeguarding this landmark and expanding community outreach is inspiring—and essential. Joel’s hard work in proof that when we preserve our past, we enrich our present and future.
